You can assemble your own personal programme from the selection of around 3,000 events on offer in Munich. It makes no difference whether you prefer attending discussions, gathering information, exchanging viewpoints and meeting other people or whether you are looking for reflection, prayer, meditation or counselling. Maybe you want to join in a celebration or listen to music — everything is possible at the 2nd Ecumenical Kirchentag.
There will be an English-language guide to the programme to help you find events of interest to international visitors, including those where simultaneous interpretation into English is provided.
Welcome and information hour for international visitors
On Wednesday 12th May in the afternoon, there will be an information session in German and English giving an introduction to the programme of the 2nd Ecumenical Kirchentag, as well as presentations about the host city and the host Church. This is also an opportunity for you to make an initial contact with other international participants.
International Visitor Service
There will be a special International Visitor Service located at the Exhibition Centre ("Messegelände"), which will be open all day from morning to evening for participants from abroad to get information and help.
The German programme book and an English booklet with a selection of events of special interest will appear at the end of March 2010 and will be sent out, along with all the other relevant materials, to all those who have registered in time. The full German programme will also be published online in early March at www.oekt.de/programm.
